-        Ulysses Enterprises, the parent company of Uwear1.com, was founded in 1999 as White-Wood Life Services and evolved into a counseling practice in 2005.  We became an LLC as read4peace.org, in the midst of an international health pandemic, in 2020, in Milwaukee, WI.

-        We did practical market research while planning a strategic model from 2021-2022, in Pittsburgh, PA and officially became a not-for-profit in 2024, in Syracuse, NY.

-        The best is yet to come. We are now strategically positioned to give back by offering quality merchandise through tax-deductible donations.  So far we have given back a modest $15,000.   

-        We do what we do because service to our fellow man and woman is a labor of love passed down through many generations of our Christian family, namely the Carter’s (paternal) and the Cole’s (maternal).  After the sudden and unexpected death of his father, Ulysses Marion Woodard, D. White determined from a young age that he wanted to make a positive impact on society and be a lifetime humanitarian.  He did not know exactly what he wanted to do our how he was going to do it.  Fortunately, modern advances in technology provide an ideal platform to give back on a national and even international level. God is good all the time.
